DESCRIPTION:Get ready for the Section W-6P Conclave to be held on the beautiful island of Oahu at Camp Pupukea.  The Conclave is an annual gathering for all Order of the Arrow members from Hawai‘i and across the Pacific\, bringing together Scouts and scouters from Achpateuny Lodge of the Far East Council and our host lodge\, Nā Mokupuni O Lawelawe Lodge of the Aloha Council. This year’s Section Conclave is scheduled for April 3-5\, 2020 and will be held at Camp Pupukea on the famous North Shore of Oahu. Pupukea offers spectacular mountain views and a peaceful setting in a Hawaiian forest. \nRegistration is open now here. \nThe Conclave program seeks to increase the knowledge and understanding of the delegates in all aspects of the Order of the Arrow program and have fun.  This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow Arrowmen from Section W-6P along with the newly elected 2020 National Vice Chief Noah Smith.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to fellowship with and learn from a National Officer! \nThrough the Conclave\, Arrowmen should be inspired to set and commit themselves to higher goals of performance for themselves and their lodges.  Having fun with your fellow Arrowmen and sharing experiences at Camp Pupukea is an event that you will never forget.  There will be shows\, indoor and outdoor activities\, and Section Chief Surya Sriram is planning a variety of exciting events that you won’t want to miss.  All kinds of fun activities are on the schedule\, you just need to register as soon as possible to reserve your space at the premier OA event of the year. \nFinally\, a Section Election will be held to elect the Section Chief\, Section Vice Chief and Section Secretary.  In order to run for office\, you will need a document saying the position(s) you intend on running for and written (paper\, email\, etc.) approval by your respective Scout Executive or his designated representative.  You will need to be under the age of 21 during your entire term of office. \nThose elected at this Section Election will have the opportunity to attend the Western Region’s Section Gathering in Saratoga\, California\, October 23-25\, 2020.  The Section Chief represents all Arrowmen in Section W6P (Achpateuny and Nā Mokupuni O Lawelawe Lodges) and represents us in the Western Region of the Order of the Arrow.  The Section Chief travels to the Western Region Gathering in Saratoga\, California as well as the National Planning Meeting in Dallas\, Texas in December.  The Section Vice Chief and Secretary have been invited to the past Western Region Gatherings and we anticipate that they will be invited again. \nThere will be a Trading Post and Silent Patch Auction\, so be sure to bring extra money\, as you will get an opportunity to buy Scouting items you will not see again.  We will be auctioning off a set of the entire set of patches that includes a conclave patch from each of the Western Region Sections.

DESCRIPTION:Lodge Leadership Development is a training seminar designed to enhance the leadership potential of the lodge’s Arrowmen\, providing an experience in dedication and fellowship. Put on once a year by lodge officers and advisers\, LLD has classes which offer training for a variety of OA-specific roles. All Arrowmen should attend\, especially lodge and chapter officers. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the future of our lodge and development of our chapters as we seek to provide a quality experience in the Order of the Arrow to all of our members \nLLD will be held from Friday\, February 28 to Sunday March 1 at Camp Pupukea. \nA Brotherhood conversion will be available Friday night for anyone who has been an Ordeal member for at least six months. Please arrive at camp no later than 8PM\, especially if coming from neighbor islands. \nThe annual Lodge Banquet on Saturday at 6:00 PM is a gathering to recognize the recipients of Vigil Honor and Founder’s Award\, as well as talk story with members from all our islands. DESCRIPTION:Spring Induction Weekend registration is open now! The Induction Weekend is the Lodge’s opportunity to induct new members into the Order of the Arrow\, and perform Brotherhood conversion. \nThe Induction Weekend will be from May 3-4 at Camp Pupukea. Arrowmen and Staff should arrive from 6-7 PM on Friday\, with Candidates arriving no later than 8 PM. Check in will occur in the Lodge. As per usual\, there will be a banquet in the Lodge following the Ordeal\, Saturday at 7:00 PM. Parents can also buy tickets for this using the registration link. Keep in mind that the cost for and Ordeal Candidate includes dinner for the Candidate\, so you will only have to purchase tickets for each additional guest attending. The banquet should end around 8:30 and Arrowmen are welcome to stay and help clean up. \nThe Lodge will be holding a service project at Camp Pupukea on Saturday morning\, May 4. All Arrowmen are encouraged to attend. We will be providing lunch for all those who attend.
